How do you calculate pricing for CNC machined parts?

Pricing is based on material, machining time, tolerances, surface finish, quantity, and inspection requirements. Complex CTQs, tight tolerances, or special quality documents can increase cost by adding setup, verification steps, and reporting.

Prototypes typically prioritize speed and setup, while higher volumes benefit from process optimization. Sharing target function, non-critical dimensions, and DFM flexibility often reduces cost.

What quality documents can you provide with my order?

For the fastest alignment, include CTQ features, tolerance callouts, and any reporting format requirements in your RFQ. We’ll confirm what’s included before production begins.
